Kuros Biosciences is an international company in the biomedical sector. The sintering process is an oven that heats at a very high temperature and is used for medical purposes. Controlling and recording the temperatures of the ovens is an important part.
In the current situation, the measured data from the ovens is manually entered into an Excel file. This is far from ideal because Excel is not flexible and is also highly sensitive to human error.
In addition, anyone who has access to the Excel file can make adjustments. It is also difficult to regulate the access control of the Excel file. Archiving the data in the Excel files is not optimal, which makes it more difficult to get a complete overview. Due to the addition of new functionalities and the aging of previous Excel files, it is difficult to combine the collected data and create reports. The entire process from registration to control is not watertight and therefore sensitive to erroneous information.
During the heating of the sintering process, the temperature is measured and logged. This data is stored as a CSV file on an internal server. The data is then interpreted by the web application. The audit can now take place. The document is analysed, checked and digitally signed off. Finally, the data is automatically stored digitally in the right place.
