Based on safety and working conditions, the independent inspection company KVVM carries out checks for warehouses and staircases. Both the VCA and the guideline “Working safely at heights” require periodic inspection, which must be carried out by certified inspectors.
Due to the complexity, strict working methods and legislation, it is a challenge to make an action-oriented report for the customer. A fixed pattern is important here. The regulations and procedures are regularly tightened. That is why it is essential that the solution itself can be adjusted (is manageable).
The KVVM inspector inspects the warehouse and processes the data directly in the app. The app converts the complex process into a user-friendly way of working for the KVVM inspectors. It often happens that warehouses do not have an internet connection. The app also works offline. As soon as there is a connection to the internet, the data is immediately synchronized with the web application.
All data created in the app can be viewed directly in the web application. The web application is used to analyze and manage reports, customers, planning and customer experiences.
After receiving the report, the customer immediately provides feedback, which is displayed in the web application. A complaints module has also been developed that records this process digitally.
The mandatory inspections are carried out once a year. As a result, good planning can already be made. The annual inspections can easily be assigned to the available KVVM inspectors.
Within the web application, everything can be adjusted yourself, such as inspection schedules, elements and questions. It is also easy to manage the customer base and adjust settings. For example, adding new languages.
The inspection industry is constantly changing; legal rules are being amended and procedures are being tightened. It is important to be able to anticipate, develop and innovate quickly. For this reason, a Progressive Web App (PWA) has been developed that offers a full app experience without having to be offered via the app stores. The PWA works completely offline.
The clear and action-oriented reporting has created the need for various customers to also be able to record an inspection themselves. From this vision, we started with a customer portal that has been expanded to a customer app. Here, the customer has the option to carry out the inspection himself and record it in the app. The data is fed back to the KVVM inspectors. As a result, KVVM has an additional service; offering software as an extra service to the customer.
