User-friendly customer portal provides insight into complex reports

By displaying all inspection reports in one user-friendly customer portal, the customer has one clear overview and actionable insights.

Problem statement

Kiwa Fire Safety & Security specializes in fire safety inspections. After completion of the inspection, the report is sent by e-mail to the inspected company. For many companies, this works clearly and clearly.

For organizations with different locations and responsible employees, the challenge is to display the various inspections in an orderly manner if the organizational structure is decisive (access to reports from all branches or one location). There is no immediate overview of all inspections carried out per location. Combining the available reports and data into actionable insights is therefore a challenge. It is also difficult for the Kiwa Fire Safety & Security inspectors to have this information quickly at hand if they have questions and if they want an explanation.

Customer portal adapted to inspection process

First of all, all wishes and requirements have been identified. An online environment was then developed, fully tailored to the inspection process. In this customer portal, both Kiwa Fire Safety & Security and the customer can further adapt and manage the environment as they see fit without technical knowledge. For both desktop and mobile, all reports are clearly displayed. The following components have been included in the customer portal;

Organizational structure

The view of the organizational structure can be fully adjusted by yourself, so that there is not only a clear overview for customers with one location, but also for customers with different branches. The logo of the relevant customer can also be displayed for each branch or organization. This gives the customer a personalized environment with their own identity.

Reports are displayed in a user-friendly way so that the customer can easily view the information and have an overview of all reports carried out. Among other things, you can filter by status, date, locations, etc. If a new report is available, the customer will automatically receive an e-mail notification.

The customer has full control over their environment. He himself can grant new users access to the portal, where the relevant branch and type of user can be selected. Depending on the type of user and the access granted, certain data will or will not be granted. So optimal control.

Combining data for more insights

The available data from inspection reports has been combined into a dashboard where the customer has sufficient insights at a glance and can control them. For example, by combining data from different locations to assess quality requirements.

Results

Kiwa Fire Safety & Security recently started using the customer portal. It has already been found that collecting all inspections in one user-friendly portal saves a lot of time for the inspector and customer.
